Baylor football has unveiled its projected offensive starters as the team prepares for the upcoming season. The announcement follows the second week of fall camp, with the first game on the horizon.

DJ Lagway is anticipated to be the starting quarterback, receiving positive feedback from coaches regarding his performance. He has expressed confidence in the offensive system crafted by Jake Spavital, which may enhance his abilities and contribute to a robust offensive strategy in the Big 12.

Dawson Pendergrass is expected to take on the role of starting running back. After sitting out last season, he aims to make a notable impact, having previously recorded more than 670 rushing yards along with six touchdowns during his initial two seasons. His ability to run physically and catch passes adds significant value to the backfield.

The wide receiver lineup is likely to include Louis Brown IV and Dre'lon Miller. Brown, a former player at Colorado State and San Diego State, is projected to serve as the main deep threat. Miller, a highly regarded recruit, had a successful tenure at Colorado, demonstrating versatility as both a receiver and a hybrid player.

Gavin Freeman, who transferred from Oklahoma State, is predicted to occupy the slot receiver position, known for his speed and agility in short routes and return scenarios. At tight end, Tony Livingston joins after two years at Florida, bringing experience as both a blocker and pass catcher.

The offensive line is set to feature Logan Moore at left tackle, Nate Kibble at left guard, Koltin Sieracki at center, and Asher Hale at right guard, with the right tackle position still undecided. Moore, a junior transfer from UAB, is expected to safeguard Lagway's blindside, while Kibble, a sophomore transfer from Texas, and Sieracki, a returning player, will be integral to the line's effectiveness.

Hale, who previously played at South Alabama, adds depth and experience to the offensive front.
