Jadeveon Clowney will not play for the Houston Texans against the Bengals after a knee injury sustained while preparing for Week 2. The defensive end did not practice during the week because of the injury.

The knee problem follows ankle and hip issues that Clowney was dealing with before Houston's 36-31 loss to the Bills last Sunday. It is his third straight week with an injury concern.

Dominique Robinson and Sabastain Harash are expected to share the rotational edge-rusher work while Clowney is unavailable. Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter remain ahead of them in the Texans' edge-rusher group. CBS Sports reported that no further details were provided.
