Fourth-Inning Surge Decides Game
The Houston Astros defeated the Los Angeles Angels 3-2 on Thursday, August 20, at Daikin Park. The decisive moment arrived in the bottom of the fourth inning when the home team scored three runs to take the lead for good. That offensive burst proved sufficient to overcome an early deficit and secure the victory.
Scoring Sequence
The Angels took the initial lead in the top of the third inning. Yennier Cano homered to left field, a shot that carried 383 feet, putting Los Angeles ahead 1-0. The Astros responded immediately in the bottom of the fourth.
