Flamengo goalkeeper Agustín Rossi has questioned the condition of the Maracanã field with eight days remaining before the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys are scheduled to play there in Rio de Janeiro next Sunday. The game remains scheduled for the stadium, although the condition of the surface has become a concern.

Rossi recently described the field as uneven, saying it contains bumps and voicing hope that improvements will be made before the football game. It remains uncertain whether the playing surface will be better by kickoff. Dallas is designated as the home team, while Baltimore is designated as the road team, and those designations have not changed.

The Cowboys are scheduled to face Washington on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET before traveling to Brazil. The Ravens are scheduled to play New Orleans that day at 1 p.m. ET. The information was reported by sports.yahoo.com on Sept. 19, 2026.
