The Dallas Cowboys will be without starting inside linebacker DeMarvion Overshown for Sunday’s game with Washington, CBS Sports reported. Overshown sustained the hamstring injury during the Cowboys’ loss to the New York Giants last Sunday.
Coach Brian Schottenheimer said the 26-year-old is expected to be sidelined for one or two weeks. His absence could extend to the Cowboys’ Week 3 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens if he remains unable to practice.
CBS Sports did not report additional information about Overshown’s recovery.
