Contract Details

The City Council is scheduled to review a purchase proposal from Area Wide Paving, LLC for street overlay services valued at $976,553.00. The agreement operates under the TIPS cooperative interlocal purchasing contract number 23010402.

The council will also consider authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute any necessary documents related to the agreement.

Project Scope

The proposed work covers a total of 467,932 square feet of asphalt overlay services across various city streets. The scope includes edge milling and cement stabilization as needed, followed by a 2” hot mix asphalt layer.

Affected roadways include portions of W Hull St., N Brookhaven Rd., W Coffin St., N 6 th Ave., Bullock St, N Houston Ave, Shannon Rd, and N Juanita Dr.

Approval Process

Council members will receive a formal report on the proposal before holding a discussion. The body will then take action to approve or decline the purchase.
