Decisive Moment
The Texas Rangers secured a narrow 2-1 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, thanks to late-inning production that broke a scoreless tie through nine innings. The winning run arrived in the top of the 10th when Duran reached on an infield single to third base.
His advance was aided by a throwing error from Angels third baseman Guzman, allowing Langford to score from second base. Nimmo moved to second during the play.
