Mundo Latino’s move puts two art experiences together in the Hall of State
The Day of the Dead exhibit and an international coffee-art gallery share a destination during this year’s fair.

The Hall of State has a new role on an arts-focused State Fair of Texas visit this year. Mundo Latino's Día de los Muertos exhibit has moved there from the Women's Museum, sharing the building with an international coffee-art exhibition.
For visitors arriving during the first full week, the move makes the Hall of State the destination to mark on the map. Following an earlier year's route to the Women's Museum would lead to a different program. Current Mundo Latino location

The fair describes Mundo Latino's presentation as an exploration of the history and significance of the Day of the Dead through art installations, with shopping and face-painting opportunities also listed. The shared address offers Denison readers a compact cultural stop within a larger day trip. It puts two different approaches to art in one building without requiring the entire fair visit to follow a single subject.

Published hours for the Hall of State exhibits are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. That earlier closing is worth building into an evening itinerary: saving the galleries until after a late meal could leave less time than the fairgrounds' overall closing suggests. Exhibit hours
The Women's Museum has not disappeared from the fair's cultural map. The current family-attractions page lists The Black Academy of Arts and Letters there, along with “Eminence Rising: 150 Years of Prairie View A&M University.” That is a separate destination and exhibition, not another name for Mundo Latino.
