The Dallas Cowboys will face the Baltimore Ravens in Rio de Janeiro without four players, according to an update from the team's official website. Safety P.J. Locke is headed to injured reserve because of the foot injury he sustained against Washington, a move that will keep him out for a minimum of four more weeks.
Safety Malik Hooker, who has a fractured forearm, also remains unavailable.
Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and cornerback Cobie Durant were also ruled out because of hamstring injuries. Durant had started before being hurt in Dallas' Week 2 win over Washington. Linebackers Jaishawn Barham and Dee Winters were injured in that game but finished it.
Dallas has placed Barron on its 53-player roster after he played in the previous game through a temporary practice-squad elevation. The move adds linebacker depth with Overshown sidelined. The Cowboys also called up cornerback Reddy Steward from the practice squad for the Ravens matchup.
Steward handled substantial defensive work for Dallas in 2025 as a nickel corner and sometimes played safety. At safety, Dallas still has Jalen Thompson, Caleb Downs, Markquese Bell and Alijah Clark available.
