Baylor football has published its first depth chart for the 2026 season in anticipation of their opening game against Auburn. This announcement comes as the Bears gear up for the matchup, which is significant for fans in Denison, Texas, located about 60 miles from Waco.

DJ Lagway is named the starting quarterback, with Nate Bennett, Edward Griffin, and Quinn Murphy serving as backups. Dawson Pendergrass will lead the running back position, supported by Caden Knighten, Michael Turner, Ryelan Morris, and Jacorey Watson. The wide receiver lineup includes Louis Brown IV and either Dre'lon Miller or Jadon Porter, while Gavin Freeman is designated as the starting slot receiver.
