Houston Texans linebacker Henry To'oTo'o is expected to miss time after suffering a shoulder injury in the team's 36-31 loss to Buffalo, coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday. The Texans have not decided whether to place him on injured reserve, ESPN reported.
To'oTo'o was injured with 2:34 left in the fourth quarter while tackling Bills tight end Dawson Knox. He needed help getting up, went to the sideline and did not return. Houston selected To'oTo'o in the fifth round of the 2023 draft, and he signed a two-year, $16 million extension in August.
The Bills' 36 points were the second-highest total Houston has allowed during Ryans' tenure. Tampa Bay scored 37 against the Texans in 2023. Houston had not allowed more than 30 points since giving up 31 to Baltimore on Christmas in 2024.
The Texans' next three games are at home against Cincinnati, on the road against Indianapolis and at home against Dallas. All three teams ranked among the NFL's top 12 scoring offenses last season.
