The Dallas Cowboys will be without DeMarvion Overshown, Malik Hooker, P.J. Locke and Cobie Durant for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens in Brazil. None practiced during the week, and none traveled to Brazil. Three of the absences involve defensive starters. Locke is Dallas’ third safety and a primary reserve.
Baltimore’s offense features quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry. The Cowboys finished 2025 with one of the NFL’s three lowest total-defense rankings and currently stand 29th out of 32 teams after two games this season.
Stephen Jones, the team’s executive vice president, said Overshown and Hooker may have an opportunity to play in Week 4 at the Houston Texans. Overshown has a hamstring strain, while Hooker is recovering from a fractured forearm. Both injuries happened in the season opener against the Giants, and both missed Dallas’ victory over Washington in Week 2.
Overshown calls the defense’s signals. Neither player has been cleared, and no report said a return is likely.
