Houston Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Nico Collins and Ed Ingram could be available when Houston plays the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4. Both players have been sidelined for the last two games, and the team is hopeful they can return. The update was reported by sports.yahoo.com on Sept. 28, 2026.
Collins, a Pro Bowl wide receiver and three-time 1,000-yard receiver, has been out as Houston has struggled to produce on the outside. Dalton Schultz has been the main exception. Xavier Hutchinson has led the Texans in receiving during the last two games, making nine receptions for 120 yards. Collins had seven catches, 75 yards and a touchdown in one game against the Buffalo Bills.
Ingram’s absence has moved Wyatt Teller into the starting role at right guard. Houston has totaled 130 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown over its last two games. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who has missed two games with a knee injury, is still considered week-to-week.
Houston had five sacks and caused two fumbles in its previous game while missing players along the edge. The game is scheduled for noon at Reliant Stadium.
