The Dallas Cowboys concluded their 2026 training camp with a final practice at The Star, which marked the end of their sessions that began on July 29. Fans were present for the last practice, which followed a notable trip to Oxnard. The team is preparing to face the New Orleans Saints in their last preseason game before finalizing their 53-man roster for the regular season.
Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb excelled during the final practice, demonstrating his skills after limited participation in earlier sessions due to the starters being rested. He connected with quarterback Dak Prescott on multiple occasions, including a touchdown catch over cornerback Cobie Durant. Lamb also made an impressive one-handed catch for another touchdown during red zone drills.
Cornerback Cobie Durant encountered difficulties during practice, allowing two touchdowns—one to Lamb and another to George Pickens. Nevertheless, Durant has established himself as a starting cornerback alongside DaRon Bland throughout the training camp. Linebacker Jaishawn Barham also made a notable impact, starting on defense and showcasing his aggressiveness.
He pressured Prescott during a blitz, which would have led to a sack in a game situation. Barham's performance has shown steady improvement since the second preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals. As the Cowboys gear up for their final preseason matchup, the team remains hopeful about their offensive strengths and overall performance for the upcoming regular season.
