A student athlete from Crandall High School sustained an injury during practice on Wednesday and was airlifted for medical treatment. This incident occurred at the PIT in Crandall, a community in Kaufman County located about 20 miles east of Dallas.

Crandall Independent School District (ISD) communicated via social media to inform the community about the helicopter's arrival near the baseball fields, which was essential for the student's transport to receive advanced medical care. The district requested that the community respect the family's privacy during this challenging time, stating that they are keeping the student and their family in their thoughts.
