The City of Denison will close its city offices on Monday, September 7, in recognition of the Labor Day holiday. The residential collection station will also be closed on that day.
Despite the closure of the offices and the collection station, regular trash and recycling routes will run as normal. Residents should continue to place their waste and recycling out for collection according to their usual schedules.
The city announced the schedule change to align with the federal holiday. No other changes to municipal services were noted in the announcement. Residents are advised to plan their visits to city offices or the residential collection station for other days, as these locations will not be accessible on Monday, September 7.
