The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will install a new permanent four-way stop at the intersection of Farm to Market Road 84 and State Highway 91. The work is scheduled for Friday, August 7.

This change coincides with the start of the school year at the new B. McDaniel campus. TxDOT has already placed message boards in the area to alert drivers to the upcoming traffic pattern adjustment.

Officials advise motorists traveling through the intersection to slow down and observe the new stop signs. Drivers are asked to exercise extra caution while residents and commuters adjust to the new configuration. The city recommends that travelers plan for additional time when navigating this route.

Residents are encouraged to remain alert and share information about the change with friends and family who utilize this corridor. For further details or inquiries regarding the project, the public may contact TxDOT through the portal available on their official webpage at bit.ly/TxDOT_ContactUs.
