Denison households assigned to the second week of bulk collection can begin setting out items at 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, for the collection week beginning Monday, Oct. 12.

Items must reach the curb by 6:30 a.m. Monday. Residents should check the address-lookup map linked from the city’s bulk collection page to confirm their assigned week.

The remaining October schedule is:

  • Second week: Oct. 12, with set-out beginning Oct. 10
  • Third week: Oct. 19, with set-out beginning Oct. 17
  • Fourth week: Oct. 26, with set-out beginning Oct. 24

The city limits a bulk pile to two cubic yards, roughly the space occupied by a washer and dryer. Furniture, appliances and bagged trash are accepted. Construction debris, chemicals, hazardous waste, wet paint and tires are excluded.

Keep bulk items separate from branches and limbs, and leave sidewalks, streets and access to utility equipment clear.
