Bluepeak Fiber recently announced that it has surpassed the 500,000 homes-passed milestone for its internet service. The company identified Denison as a key contributor to this achievement, noting that the city served as its first market in Texas.

Service connections in the community began in February 2025, and leadership stated that the local expansion has been a natural step given the company's existing presence in neighboring Oklahoma.

According to company information, Denison was selected because it represented a large underserved area in North Texas regarding reliable fiber access. The company emphasized that its goal is to support students, families, and local businesses by improving connectivity. This approach aligns with the company's broader strategy of building long-term relationships with the communities it serves, rather than treating network expansion as a one-time project.

Lana Frank, Bluepeak’s Chief Commercial Officer, stated that the company aims to demonstrate commitment to the community regardless of whether residents are customers. She highlighted that the firm supports local events such as Music on Main, the Police Department’s banquet, and high school prom.

Frank noted that Denison holds a special place as the company's initial Texas market, and the relationships formed there are shaping how Bluepeak engages with future communities.

The company has engaged in various community partnerships, including sponsoring the Heavy Hitters Camp, Depot Days 2026, and the 250th Independence Day celebration. It has also maintained multi-year partnerships with events like Denison on Ice and the Music on Main concert series.

Frank mentioned that local business owners, such as Wendy Acosta of The Desk & Easel, have chosen Bluepeak to power their operations, which the company views as a sign of earned trust.

In a statement regarding the recent milestone, Frank described the 500,000 homes-passed figure as a significant achievement. She explained that while the company is proud of the number, the primary importance lies in the increased access to fiber connectivity for households that previously lacked meaningful options. The expansion into Denison has helped fuel the company's growth since its launch in the area last year.
