North Texas Regional Airport will have a new manager Oct. 5, when Kyle Holtz takes over the job.
Grayson County commissioners announced the appointment Tuesday, according to KTEN. The station reported that Holtz was selected over 100 other applicants following a search that began in August.
County Judge Bruce Dawsey said Holtz has nearly 15 years of aviation experience, including work as a pilot and in management. His airport career has taken him to the Fort Worth area and, most recently, Concord, North Carolina.
The change in leadership comes as the airport finishes a runway project. Dawsey told KTEN that Holtz’s experience could help support the facility’s growth.
