The Tesch Hillside Ranch in Bells, Texas, is drawing visitors from across the region to view its herd of Highland cattle. The family-owned operation has gained significant attention online, prompting people to travel from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to see the animals.

The ranch features a herd of Highland cows, known for their distinctive shaggy coats. Owners Sarah and Chris Tesch have converted part of their family pasture into a space where visitors can view the countryside and interact with the animals. These gatherings, which occur several times a month, also include custom caffeinated beverages.

The current format of the events was not the original intention of the owners. Sarah Tesch explained that she initially persuaded her husband to host a single autumn event. However, the success of that initial gathering led to the creation of a recurring "Cows and Coffee" series.

"I talked my husband into doing just a one-time fall ranch day," Tesch said. "We opened up the ranch several falls ago and it was a hit, which was really never our plan. So that then morphed into the Cows and Coffee."

The popularity of the events has grown steadily since that first iteration. The Tesch family now hosts these gatherings regularly, allowing animal enthusiasts to meet the herd in person. Details regarding the specific schedule for upcoming visits or ticketing requirements are not yet clear.

Bells is located approximately 12 miles southeast of Denison.
