This season features a more direct connection to Richardson, with the University of Texas at Dallas appearing in the storyline. The campus, located on West Campbell Road in Richardson's Telecom Corridor, is highlighted alongside other North Texas landmarks, including a scene with Hank repairing Big Tex at the State Fair of Texas.
Hank and Peggy are navigating retirement while Bobby, now an adult, runs a fusion restaurant in Dallas. The voice cast includes returning actors Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, and Pamela Adlon, among others. Additionally, the fictional schools in Arlen bear names of notable Dallas Cowboys figures, further tying the show to the region.
