Late Equalizer Decides Draw

Duncan McGuire’s goal in the second minute of stoppage time lifted Houston Dynamo FC to a 2-2 draw with Minnesota United FC on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at Allianz Field. Minnesota was the home team, while Houston played as the visitor. The late goal completed a four-goal match and left the teams level.

Houston Strikes First

Houston opened the scoring in the 18th minute, when Lyle Foster put the visitors ahead. Minnesota answered shortly after halftime, with Kelvin Yeboah scoring in the 48th minute to make it 1-1.

Minnesota then moved in front in the 78th minute. Marcus Caldeira scored to give the home team a 2-1 lead, but Houston found the equalizer in the 90th minute plus two when McGuire scored.

Records and Stat Leaders

The draw left Minnesota United FC with a 7-9-12 record and Houston Dynamo FC at 13-6-9 after the match.

Yeboah led Minnesota with four total shots. Drake Callender made four saves for Minnesota. Houston’s Guilherme Augusto recorded three total shots, while Jonathan Bond made three saves for the Dynamo.
