Late Rally Secures Victory

The Baltimore Orioles extended their winning streak to six games by defeating the Houston Astros 4-2 in an 11-inning contest at Daikin Park on Saturday. The game remained tightly contested until the 11th inning, where Baltimore manufactured two runs to break the deadlock and secure the win.

The Orioles took an early 1-0 lead in the fourth inning when Beavers doubled to right field, driving in Alonso while Basallo advanced to third. Houston tied the game in the seventh inning on a sacrifice bunt by Allen that allowed Dezenzo to score.

The Astros held that advantage until the 10th inning, when Jackson’s sacrifice bunt sent Taveras to the plate to score, giving Baltimore a 2-1 lead. Alvarez responded for Houston with a ground-rule double in the same frame, allowing Spence to tie the game at 2-2.
