Denison, Texas — Gas prices in the Sherman-Denison area averaged $3.6400 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 17, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.6260 yesterday. That is up from $3.3810 a week ago but higher than $3.4380 a month ago.
The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.5680, while the national average is $3.9810. Drivers in the Sherman-Denison area are paying above the state average and below the national average.
