Caterpillar Inc. is rolling out five new Cat machines, three of which the company first showed at the ConExpo-Con/AGG trade show earlier this year. Visitors to Equip Exposition, set for Oct. 21-23 in Louisville, Kentucky, will be able to see the equipment and try it out.
The new lineup includes:
- Cat TUL100 compact utility loader. It is rated to carry more than 1,000 pounds and offers several track widths and many attachments for jobs in cramped areas.
- Cat 253 compact track loader. Built on the Cat 259D3 platform, it has a rated operating capacity of 2,006 pounds and a redesigned undercarriage with C-pattern tracks meant to help with grading and to keep the machine steady on soft ground.
- Cat 301 CR micro hydraulic excavator. Aimed at indoor work, demolition, farming and landscaping, it can pass through a 30-by-78-inch doorway and has an expandable undercarriage for added stability and lifting.
- Cat 302.4 and 302.6 mini excavators. Caterpillar describes them as 2.4- and 2.6-ton-class models that are easy to haul and offer better digging, trenching, lifting and travel performance.
Caterpillar has posted full details on the new products at cat.com.
