Financing Structure

The City Council will receive a report and hold a discussion regarding the issuance of Combination Tax and Revenue Certificates of Obligation, Series 2026C.

A resolution will direct the publication of a notice of intention to issue these certificates. The principal amount will not exceed $20,000,000.

Capital Improvement Alignment

Funds generated from the issuance will support water and sewer system improvements. These projects align with the City’s established 10-year capital improvement plan.

The certificates will carry a term of 20 years to match long-term infrastructure needs.

Repayment Mechanism

Debt service for the issuance will be secured through dedicated water and sewer system revenue sources. No general fund appropriations are required for repayment.

Council Action Required

The council is scheduled to consider adoption of the resolution during the August 17 meeting. Approval would authorize the next steps in the municipal financing process.
